Coaching and IFS were made for each other

The gifted coach trainer Yannick Jacob interviews me for the Animas Centre for Coaching, based in London. For 80 minutes, we discuss how coaches can use IFS safely to support their clients in healing and awakening. Yannick also asks me about my soul’s purpose and approach to spirituality in coaching.

The Awakened Coach: Moving into Wellbeing to Facilitate Wellbeing

I delivered a keynote address at the 2nd Annual Transformative Coaching Summit, sponsored by Animas Centre for Coaching, based in the United Kingdom. My theme was spiritual awakening. To become and remain a master coach, you must be fully engaged in an ongoing program of personal healing and awakening. The meta-agenda of all coaching is fundamental wellbeing, or waking up to your true nature, that is, to your divinity. I suggest ways in which you can support your soul’s journey.

Guided Meditation: Four States of Nondual Realization

I led this meditation for the IFS Nondual Community. I take us on a journey through four different states of nonduality: spaciousness, fullness, stillness, and clarity. You can choose to stay in any one of those states, or you can taste all four. If one state appeals to you, practice sinking into and savoring that one. It could be any one of the four, or you could experiment at different times with each of the four. The meditation begins at 15:00 and ends at 30:30.

“One of the things I love about this work is learning how to be deeply respectful of every person’s system. In some coaching and therapy models, that isn’t always the case. I appreciate the emphasis on being careful and treading lightly as we guide someone into their own inner world — rather than stomping in with hiking boots.”
